If my comments can save one person from the pain and agony I have gone through for the past 5 years it will be well worth it! This is the second jar I have ordered. What is in Dr Hess Udder Ointment?
Dr Hess Udder Ointment contains 13 emollients or skin
moisturizers/softeners, as well as a blood circulating and
oxygenating ingredient, Menthyl Salicylate (which also gives it
the minty smell, and a few antibacterial agents.
Why does it work so well?
Dr Hess Udder Ointment works so effectively because it also
contains an ingredient which opens skin pores. Once the pores
are open, the 13 emollients are allowed to enter deep into the
skin and begin the healing process.
And is it all natural?
The one non-natural ingredient, petrolatum (same as Vaseline) has
a characteristic of then rising to the surface of the skin
acting as a protectorant against further skin damage and
allowing the emmolients time to heal and soften the skin.
